Step 1: Fat Release – The Foundations

Technology: CellSound Resonance 

We use CellSound’s groundbreaking technology, which combines an electric field with therapeutic ultrasound and penetrates to a depth of up to 10 cm within the tissue. The electric field turns the membrane of the fat cells permeable, while the ultrasound creates a precise resonance that accelerates the lipolysis process inside the cell. As a result, the triglycerides break down into their components – glycerol and three free fatty acids – which “escape” the cell and become bio-available energy, ready to be burned and eliminated in the following treatment stages.

To understand the power of CellSound, you first need to understand the core challenge: a fat cell (adipocyte) is a biological “safe.” Its purpose is to store energy in the form of triglycerides and not to release it easily. Most technologies try to “break into” this safe by force (heating or freezing), which creates trauma to the tissue.

CellSound works differently. It doesn’t break into the safe – it persuades it to open from within, through a sophisticated combination of two technologies working in perfect synergy:

  • The Action: The device creates an electric field at a very low frequency that penetrates deep into the tissue. This field does not heat and does not harm the cells. Its role is to trigger a phenomenon called electro-permeabilization. In simple terms, it temporarily makes the membrane of the fat cell more permeable. It destabilizes the membrane and makes it sensitive and “open” to external influences.

     

  • The Analogy: Imagine the electric field oiling the lock of the safe and weakening the door. It still doesn’t open it, but it prepares it to open easily.
  • The Action: This is where the unique ultrasound technology comes into play. It operates at a specific frequency that creates acoustic resonance within the fat cells. This vibration acts on the membrane, which has already been “softened” by the electric field.

     

  • The Biological Result: “The Great Escape”: the combination of the permeable membrane and the precise vibration triggers a chain of events inside the cell:


    1. Enzymes inside the cell receive a signal to begin an accelerated lipolysis process.

    2. With the membrane now permeable, those smaller components can finally exit the cell into the intercellular space.

    3. They break the triglyceride molecule (the stored fat) into its three basic components: one glycerol molecule and three free fatty acid molecules.

It is the combination of these two technologies that makes this deep penetration possible. It allows us to reach not only the superficial subcutaneous fat (the kind you can pinch), but also deeper, more stubborn fat layers that until today were almost impossible to treat without an invasive procedure.
